How do I get my boys to read more?… was the question that started BookTies.

As a father of five boys, I constantly looked for ways to make reading more engaging and fun. First, I would find interesting books. Then, I would read ahead of them and come up with questions from those books I could use to show I was happy they were reading and wanted to be a part of it. My goal was to make my questions not stressful but fun!
That’s how BookTies was created. We now have over 100 books and thousands of questions on the platform. I hope that using BookTies will connect you to your children as it has done with me to mine.

The BookTies Purpose

When kids feel loved at home, they come to school ready to learn and grow. BookTies helps parents create meaningful moments with their children using amazing children’s books. These moments help kids know they are loved and cared for. With BookTies parents send their children the message that reading is important and YOU are important.
