We want to be a positive source for parents looking to find simple ways to create meaningful moments with their children in the home. How do I get my boys to read more?… was the question that started BookTies.
As a father of five boys, I constantly looked for ways to make reading more engaging and fun. First, I would find interesting books. Then, I would read ahead of them and come up with questions from those books I could use to show I was happy they were reading and wanted to be a part of it. My goal was not to make my questions stressful but to make them fun!
That’s how BookTies was created. We now have over 100 books and thousands of questions on the platform. I hope that BookTies’ books and questions will connect you to your children as they have done with me to mine.
